A soul wound is an excruciating wound that strikes the heart and pierces the soul. Forgiveness, self-forgiveness, and closure are the only strategies to heal a soul wound. 

Relying on Jesus always keeps these wounds from hitting their mark. Satan is the one who creates these wounds, and he wants them to snare our souls.  

How he succeeds is up to us. Let the devil torture our soul, or allow Jesus to bring healing and comfort. The choice is ours.
